You can create videos from pictures and songs by importing them or from the Photos app itself.

Microsoft claims that it uses AI and “deep learning” to turn photos and videos into stories. Although it is intended to replace the older Windows Movie Maker, this feature has hardly been promoted by Microsoft. Which brings us to Video editing! The Video Editor in Photos is Microsoft’s evolution of the Story Remix application. And finally, the Photos app also allows users to trim videos, slow down video, and save photos from videos. Furthermore, users can adjust shadows, highlights, sharpness, and add some filters. Microsoft Photos provides a few very basic rastergraphics editor functions: crop and rotate, exposure or colour correction, red eye fixes, spots and blemishes removal, and reduction of image noise. The default Collection view is sorted by date and users can view images by Album or Folder.

Microsoft Photos can organise digital photos in galleries and albums. Photos, Microsoft’s image organiser and photo editor which is built in Windows 10 has under its hood a kind of successor for the obsolete Windows Movie Maker video editor.
